Delete your Booky account
You can delete your account and all your data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Booky and go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away.
By email
If you can't open the app, email hello@bookybooks.app from the email address you use for Booky, with the subject "Delete my Booky account". We will delete it within 30 days and let you know when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile
- Your shelves, reading progress, goals and wishlist
- Your notes, quotes, reviews and reading memories
- Your posts, comments, likes, follows, buddy reads and messages
Photos you saved only on your phone stay on your phone. Nothing is kept after deletion, except anything the law requires us to keep, for no longer than required.
