These terms are an agreement between you and Booky for using Booky. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Booky. Keep your login safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time.

Your content

Your notes, quotes, reviews, photos and memories belong to you. By posting something publicly in the community, you allow us to show it to other readers inside Booky. Private content stays private.

Being kind

Please don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, spam, or other people's private information, and don't spoil books without a spoiler warning. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. You can report or block other readers at any time.

Booky Plus

Some features need a Booky Plus subscription. Subscriptions are bought and managed through Google Play, renew automatically until you cancel, and can be cancelled in your Google Play account settings. Refunds follow Google Play's policies.

AI features

Features such as Ask Booky are made with AI. Their results can be imperfect, so treat suggestions as ideas, not facts.

Book information

Book details and covers come from public book databases and may sometimes be wrong. Shopping links take you to other stores; we are not responsible for those stores.

The app itself

We work hard to keep Booky running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is" and may sometimes have bugs or downtime. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using Booky. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
